From humble beginnings, deploying point-to-point ISM and Microwave links in the early 2000’s, NetUnity’s experience has tracked the development of Wi-Fi from simple, slow ad-hoc early technology through to current high-speed, ubiquitous coverage deployments that are replacing copper as the connection of choice.
Focussing primarily on Cisco and Aruba controller-based systems, and Cisco Meraki controller-less solutions, NetUnity was responsible for design and deployment of:
- a major European Electrical and Electronics manufacturer’s UK wireless network (2010);
- an international Media organisation’s London HQ wireless network (Cisco’s largest European Cisco location-based services network when it was built);
- a UK government department’s wireless installation (in excess of 400 sites); -
- a major prestige UK department store’s wireless deployment.
NetUnity understands that Wi-Fi deployment involves mastering the subtleties of Radio Frequency (RF) design, and is equipped to perform RF surveys and designs as well as the design of the supporting Control and Management systems and the Ethernet underlay network.
